INTELLIGENT CARE BINDER · FREE TO START
From hospital discharge papers to a home care binder
Coming home with a stack of papers is only the beginning. Kindoya's intelligent Care Binder helps turn discharge paperwork into organized information you can review, question and keep—whether it is for your own recovery or someone you support.
Start with the free Hospital Discharge Packet. Review extracted details alongside the original pages, choose what to keep in your Family Care Binder and add household or caregiver details manually.
With Kindoya Senior, take the next step: review and confirm proposed medication changes and follow-ups from the discharge papers. Senior then intelligently applies your approved changes and automatically updates medication records and follow-up items. Less retyping, with you in control—alongside ongoing caregiver coordination and expense monitoring.
1. Keep one hospital stay together
Choose Hospital Discharge in Care Binders and start a packet for that stay. Add related discharge papers to the same packet. Keep the originals available so you can check a detail or bring the paperwork to a follow-up conversation.
2. Review the details Kindoya brings forward
Kindoya's extraction workflow organizes information from the papers into seven types of review items. What appears depends on the documents; an empty section does not mean there is nothing to ask about.
- Medications: medicine names and documented details such as dose, frequency and changes.
- Follow-ups: provider, appointment and timing information written in the packet.
- Care instructions: directions and follow-up actions stated in the discharge papers.
- Equipment: documented equipment needs, with supplier or delivery details when present.
- Referrals: services or specialists mentioned for follow-up.
- Contacts: people, offices and phone numbers found in the papers.
- Events: other dated or pending items recorded in the packet.
Use Read source excerpt or View source page when available. Kindoya flags items that need review and source pages that are unavailable. Extraction may be incomplete; review the original papers even when processing has finished.
3. Turn uncertain details into clear questions
Confirm, correct or flag extracted items for clarification. Keep a question separate from an instruction you have confirmed. If a detail is missing or two documents disagree, ask the care team rather than filling in a guess.
Example: a packet mentions a follow-up visit. Check the provider, date, time and location against the source. If the time is missing, leave it as a question to confirm. An extracted appointment is not proof that a visit has been booked.
4. Choose what to keep in your Family Care Binder
Review and saving are separate steps. After reviewing the packet, select the information you want to save to your Family Care Binder. Saved references retain their connection to the source and can show when information needs another review.
Ready to use those details in ongoing care? Kindoya Senior has a separate review-and-confirm step for applying medication changes and follow-ups to the relevant care records. Saving a Binder reference alone does not apply those changes. A follow-up record does not book an appointment with a provider, and an equipment recommendation still needs a separate delivery check.
5. Add the everyday details paperwork cannot supply
Use manual setup to add household, care-recipient and family-caregiver details. Keep current contacts, routines, practical home needs and unanswered questions organized with the person receiving care. Decide together who maintains the information and who may access it.
Keep the reviewed paperwork as your reference, and use Kindoya Senior to carry confirmed medication changes and follow-ups into ongoing care. You choose the changes before they are applied.

How does Kindoya Senior help after a hospital discharge?
Kindoya extracts the discharge information; you review it against the original papers. In Senior, preview and confirm proposed medication changes and follow-ups. Is this only for an aging parent?
No. Use the free Care Binder for your own discharge paperwork or for someone you support. Kindoya Senior is the optional product for ongoing aging-parent care coordination.
Is the Family Care Binder the same as Kindoya Family?
No. Family Care Binder is the place for reviewed information in Care Binder. The separate Kindoya Family product is still in development.
